One of the lasting legacies of mystics and Sufi elders is their letters.
Letters; These are letters that mystics often wrote to express the teachings, advice to their contemporaries. In this way, while communicating with their friends and followers, they answered their questions and doubts.
These written correspondences and conversations have also been a means of expressing some of the mystical mysteries, theological truths and divine teachings.
In other words, correspondence with friends and disciples has long been common among Sufis as a means of teaching, questioning, and answering, and the elders of the sect used the structure of letters and letters to express their thoughts.
This article seeks to analyze the structural and content characteristics of the surviving letters of the two pioneers of the path; The Dhu al-Nun Mesri and the mystics is Junaid Baghdadi And in addition to providing a systematic list of the correspondence of these two famous mystics, the purpose is to answer the following fundamental questions: What are the letters of Zulnon and Junaid in terms of structure and form? , Are these letters based on the tradition of classifying letters and the type of relationship between these two mystics and the audience, is it the Brotherhood or Soltani?, And based on the exchange, are the letters one-sided or multi-sided? What is the content and function of the letters of these two famous mystics? Who are the narrators and the audience of the letters and what classes of society do they belong to?.
